Toss Bags, Support Local: Birds of a Feather Cornhole Tourney

If you’re looking for something fun and active to do on April 25th, this is an event you circle on the calendar. The Birds of a Feather 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament is going down at Korneli’s on the Ave, and it’s not just about tossing bags, it’s about bringing people together for a good cause here in Fond du Lac. Doors open at 9:30, bags fly at 11, and whether you’re competitive or just there to have a good time, there’s a spot for you.

I’ve actually been to Korneli’s before to check out Race To 21, the cornhole group here in Fondy run by Pat Ha, and it’s a great setup for something like this. Great space, good people, and it’s the kind of place that makes events like this easy and fun. That same crew is helping run this tournament, so you already know it’s going to be organized and worth showing up for.

What I like most about this event is everything around the tournament itself. You’ve got raffles, 50/50, throw for dough, music, food and drinks, it’s just a full day to hang out with friends or bring the family. On top of that, everything raised goes back to supporting students and staff in the Fond du Lac School District through Birds of a Feather. That’s the kind of stuff I’ll always get behind, local people helping local people, and making a good time out of it at the same time.
